Most of us have heard the statistics that 97% of the world's population never truly achieves wealth and financial independence. It's also true that about 80% of the American workforce is most likely to reach "retirement" age either dead or dead broke.
So what's really behind the statistics? Statistics are only a sign post pointing to the truth; in fact probably 87% of all statistics are made up on the spot just for the convenience of whoever is using them. However, that being said they still point us in the direction of the truth... IF we should choose to listen and learn from the substance the statistics are based upon.
As stated in the introduction for this blog I am going to explore the many faceted realities of "Creating True Wealth" and most importantly this blog will attempt to reveal strategies the "normal" work a day every day person can employ to affect real change in their lives.
As you follow this blog you'll find many common themes repeated and often there will be a countless redundancy of the principles discussed. It isn't because the subject lacks an infinite amount of material to write about. This repetition is the result of research on proven results. The many people whose lives and lifestyles have been observed to create this blog all have one major thing in common. They consistently employ a handful of "principled" actions on a daily basis. If there is a secret then that is their real secret to "Creating True Wealth."
These blog posts come from my participation in actual interviews with real people getting real results. Often they don't even know I'm taking notes and rarely do I accurately quote them verbatim. I don't have to get permission to publish my notes because they happily and willingly shared what they know with me... which brings me to an important place to start where true wealth is concerned.
There are basically two kinds of people in the world: Those who are here to "get" their piece of the pie and then there are those who are here to "give" value for the benefit of all.
So ask yourself what kind of person are you?
Do you believe it's a dog eat dog world? Or do you believe that giving service to others is the highest purpose that one can aspire to in this lifetime?
Conventional wisdom has taught us to be competitive and "get" what we want before the other guy does. It has taught us that there is only one pie and we best be getting our piece while there is still some left to go around. Then we're taught to feel guilty because maybe we took too much and don't really deserve to have that big of a piece.
Almost the entire tax program of the United States is based on "wealth re-distribution" as though some how those who have... took if from those who have not. This is purely a socialist viewpoint and one which I will in the weeks to follow demonstrate is based on lies and misinformation.
If you're a socialist this blog will probably offend you, its about people learning to help themselves not Government handouts... so if you're offended that's ok, you'll get over it.
This blog is about Capitalism, Entrepreneurialism, and Economic Justice being won by a Free People through Free Enterprise (aka., the old fashioned American way).
As the author and primary contributor to this blog I believe in the "human personality," faith in God and the brotherhood of man. The world is not just one big pie being used up by a bunch of greedy capitalists.
I believe and I can prove the world is more like a giant oven and we the people are kitchen master who can make an infinite number of pies as big as we want them and there will always be enough to go around for all who choose to participate in the cornucopia of life.
Prepare yourself for a discussion of the ancient principles that the authors of many great books and writings (the bible, Koran, sutras and many others) have known throughout the ages. I sum up this knowledge in the new age phrase "Personal Development" because no other definition seems to work and as you follow this blog you'll see why. As was written on the great emerald tablet "As it is within so it is without."
